Cookies

This page explains the cookies used on system-pathpoint.click. It sits alongside our privacy notice.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They can remember a choice, keep a page working, or help us understand which field notes are read. They are not used here to fabricate urgency or to follow you around other operators' sites for advertising.

Types we use

Essential. These remember whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies, and they are needed for the banner not to reappear on every page load after you choose. The site's briefing pages, forms, and documents remain available if you reject analytics.

Analytics. These are set only after you press Accept on the banner. They help us see which field notes about covers, cellars, and marquees are read. If you press Reject, they are not set.

Cookie table

Name Purpose Duration Provider
systemPathpoint_cookieConsent Stores Accept or Reject so the banner does not return every visit Until you clear local storage, typically treated as 12 months of preference System Pathpoint (first party, localStorage)
sp_analytics_id Distinguishes visits to field notes and briefing pages after Accept 6 months System Pathpoint (first party)
sp_analytics_ref Remembers the first page of a session after Accept, for example a cellar note Session System Pathpoint (first party)

How to manage or disable cookies

Use Accept or Reject on the banner. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may hide the banner's stored choice so it appears again; it will not stop you reading briefing pages or sending a note.

Third-party cookies

We load typefaces from Google Fonts. That request may allow Google to receive your IP address and browser details. We do not embed advertising networks. Illustrative photographs are requested from their public host when a page loads; that host may set its own cookies. See their notices if you want that detail.

Impact of disabling

Rejecting analytics does not remove the wall-calendar samples, the contact form, or the legal pages. You may see the cookie banner again if your browser forgets local storage. Fonts may fall back to a system serif and sans if you block the font host.
